I visited the classic car
show last weekend a great show displaying up to sixty cars dating back the 1920’s
to the 1970’s, the exhibition of classic cars belonging to prestigious Lebanese
personalities and officials from the last century, as well as belonging to Lebanese
private car collectors . Will leave you with some pictures. Open for public everyday from 4 pm till 10 pm- Beirut souks- Downtown Beirut
This Bentley was owned by his excellency Mr. Camille Chamoun. President of the republic of Lebanon from 1953 until 1958.
This Mercedes-Benz 1951 belonged to his excellency Mr. Bechara El Khoury president of Lebanon from 1943 to 1952.

Although cars made in those good ole days are chic and outstandingly sexy, I think they are meant more to impress on stage than to be driven on the road. They are big, bulky, noisy and very heavy. I like cars these days so much better. I don't think I could have ever lived in that generation.
They may be old, but they're still amazing. Seeing all these classics just reminded me of my Grandpa's old Cadillac. Too bad my parents sold it.
I know how you feel. We used to have an old Chevy Impala. My parents got rid of it before I ever had the chance to get behind the wheel.
